Celebrating Our Peer Reviewers: Recognition Program 2025 The Journal of Nepal Health Research Council is proud to announce the completion of our annual Peer Reviewer Recognition Program for 2025. This is our way of acknowledging the invaluable contributions that peer reviewers make to maintaining the quality and integrity of published research. Program Overview: In 2025, we received contributions from 187 peer reviewers across 34 countries who collectively completed 412 manuscript reviews for our journal. Recognition Categories: Top 20 Reviewers (Most Active): - Reviewed 5 or more manuscripts in 2025 - Contributed an average review turnaround time of 18 days - All recipients received personalized certificates of appreciation - Names will be listed on our website as Honor Roll reviewers Excellence in Review Quality: - 15 reviewers selected for exceptional quality feedback - Recognized for providing constructive and detailed comments - Average review length: 1,200+ words - Certificates presented at annual ceremony Emerging Reviewer Award: - 8 reviewers in their first 2 years of service - Showing promise and dedication to peer review - Mentored by senior reviewers - Given special recognition for early career contributions Reviewer Statistics: - Average review completion time: 21 days (excellent) - 98% of reviews submitted by deadline - Geographic distribution: Asia (45%), Europe (30%), Americas (20%), Others (5%) - Specialty areas: Public health (35%), Clinical medicine (40%), Health systems (25%) Special Recognition: This year, 5 reviewers completed their 50th review milestone and received special appreciation gifts.
